January has to be my favourite month.
Of course, I can understand why people aren't really that fond of it- the lull after all that Christmas excitement, that long wait until payday and all this rubbish weather.
But there's something about January I've always loved. Maybe it's the fact that we celebrate 7 family birthdays in January (including my own!) Or maybe it's just the calm after the whirlwind of Christmas. Or maybe it's that cleansing feeling from having a fresh start in a new year.
Either way, I think we should all embrace January with a warm hug and a cuppa.
