Back to school

…Well college actually. Almost five years (yikes!) after leaving my old college, I am a student there again and it feels like I never left (I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not? I may have regressed slightly...)

After the recent impulse purchase of my swanky new camera, I thought I should probably learn how to use the thing!
So I have enrolled myself on a ten week evening course in photography. It’s actually a course on how to use an SLR but I thought my camera would be up to the challenge.

This week I had my second class. We jumped straight in with apertures, shutter speed and exposure.
There isn't much to show you just yet but I can assure you, I am learning a lot!
I’ll keep you updated and share my newly improved photos with you.

3 month-iversary

Last Saturday, Mr H and I celebrated our 3 month-iversary. Yep, it's been 3 whole months since we tied the knot.
We still talk about our wedding all the time and we always say the same thing- it was the most perfect day we could have ever wished for.
If we had written a list to the wedding fairy (cos she exists right?), we would've asked for a sunny spring day (but not too hot), for all our loved ones to share the day with us and for there to be lots of laughter and smiling faces. Oh and also for a sneaky moment alone to take it all in and be ourselves for 5 minutes. And that is exactly what we got.

To celebrate, we ate the best fish & chips in town, cuddled up on our new sofa and watched rubbish on the TV. What could possibly beat that?

You & Me.

Please accept my apology for being a bit rubbish lately...
But good news, I've finally started drawing again (woohoo!) & now I kinda can't stop. I'm also being a bit naughty and even doing some doodles at work.
