HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Here we are again! The start of a brand new year. 365 clean, crisp pages lay before us.

December.

And so it begins. The countdown to the big day.

December. The month of glowing lights, cosy nights and an excuse to eat chocolate for breakfast.
The season of finding that perfect present, cuddling up with loved ones, stuffing your face until you burst and the air filled with the sweet smell of mulled wine and pine needles.

I feel very blessed to have all my family living close by but nevertheless, life sometimes runs away with you.
Christmas is the time when, even though it may be the busiest time of the year, life seems to slow down a little and you make time for the things that matter.
It really is a wonderful time of year.

3 month-iversary

Last Saturday, Mr H and I celebrated our 3 month-iversary. Yep, it's been 3 whole months since we tied the knot.
We still talk about our wedding all the time and we always say the same thing- it was the most perfect day we could have ever wished for.
If we had written a list to the wedding fairy (cos she exists right?), we would've asked for a sunny spring day (but not too hot), for all our loved ones to share the day with us and for there to be lots of laughter and smiling faces. Oh and also for a sneaky moment alone to take it all in and be ourselves for 5 minutes. And that is exactly what we got.

To celebrate, we ate the best fish & chips in town, cuddled up on our new sofa and watched rubbish on the TV. What could possibly beat that?

Shop Love:: Paper Sushi

I don't think I ever showed you these...
I may not have designed the wedding invitations but I did make our 'Save The Date' cards!
They were brilliantly quick to make (it took twice as long to address the envelopes than it did to actually make the cards!)
We bought this gorgeous stamp from the 'Paper Sushi' etsy shop; it's definitely worth a peek.

Shop Love:: Colorworks a.k.a. Our wedding invites!

I would have really loved to design our wedding stationery but, unfortunately, I knew I just wouldn't have the time

So, we did the next best thing- went to a trusty print shop!
We recruited the help of Colorworks in Bath, to print our invitations and tease the design out of my head.
They did an absolutely amazing job and come very highly recommended!
